The population of chamois is thriving, and progressively extends over the whole massif of Jura which offers them a perfectly suitable environment.
Trophies may be remarkable.
Stalking, guided or free, on week days from September to January in a mountainous environment.
Roe buck stalking
Summer roe buck stalking everyday (morning and evening except Tuesday, from June to September.
Local guide available (optional), hunting in an open landscape or in forest.
Driven hunt (roe deer or wild boar)
The driven hunt with running hounds is traditionnally the most favoured hunt in the Jura. You will join friendly teams which will allow you to live these hunting days in a convivial atmosphere, and to closely watch the progress of the chase, and the work of expert hound packs.
Accommodation : Chambres d’hôtes (French style B & B), self-catering cottages, hotels.
From de 250 € for one day of chamois stalking (young), not including accommodation and food.
